Welcome to Avonleigh Farm- our beautiful home and property in the verdant, rolling hills of South Gippsland. Established as a boutique restaurant 7 years ago, hosts Jayne and Fraser are passionate about great produce, beautiful food and classic silver service. Step into the past in their Victorian styled dining room, hear stories of the antiques and treasures adorning the walls.
Enjoy treats made from the eggs of our little family of free range chickens, or savour the fresh garden herbs sprinkled generously on savoury dishes.

Please peruse our menu below. We offer two dishes from the menu for each dinner ( including a vegetarian option if requested) Guests, on booking, may suggest the two dishes they prefer if the menu has not been finalized for that day.
Sparkling Wine/Punch and Hors d’oeuvres

Entrée A choice of two is offered from the following:

Salmon and crab mousse with wafers and crudites.
Lemon, Mint and asparagus risotto.
Chilli Garlic prawn pasta with a coconut cream sauce.
Soups: Curried Asparagus / Pumpkin and Sweet potato/Seafood Chowder.
Chicken Caesar Salad.

Eye filet of Gippsland Beef served with a Béarnaise Sauce
Thai Beef Salad with a zesty dressing
Individual Beef Wellington with a rich red wine Jus
Pan cooked Atlantic salmon with a Lemon Chive Butter Sauce.
Chilled Salmon on mixed salad bed with a Honey Cider dressing
Chicken Caesar Salad with a luxurious house made sauce .
Rustic Coq au Vin (Chicken in Red Wine)
Duck L’Orange. French style Roasted Duck in a rich orange sauce.
Vegetarian or Vegan dish of the day. (please pre order)

Le Petite Afternoon Tea $75.00 per person.
Champagne is not included but may be purchased. Fruit Punch. 4 varieties of finger sandwiches, scones, jam and cream. Tea/Coffee. A tier of mixed treats/desserts.
Devonshire Tea per person $25.00
A beautiful stand of delicious scones, jam and cream accompanied by bottomless Tea and Coffee and of course our famous Fruit Punch!​
